Saudi Arabia's five special economic zones (SEZs) are driving economic diversification

In order to diversify the Saudi economy, attract foreign investment, enhance competitiveness, and accelerate progress towards the development goals of Vision 2030, the Saudi government has established Special Economic Zones (SEZs). The core vision of these special zones is to become important hubs in global value chains, attract high-quality international investment, and further promote economic diversification by promoting the formation of industrial clusters.
